Australia's crucial election on August 21st

David Fuller's view I read that this contest is currently as close as the last two Ashes Test Matchs in England. I also heard that the betting favours Labor. I'm sure any insights from our mates in Australia would be appreciated.

Would I be correct in thinking that with BHP and Rio accounting for 24% of the AS51 Index weighting, that the stock market would prefer Tony Abbott as Prime Minister?
