Eoin Treacy's view Our IT people are currently working on the latest round of enhancements for the Chart Library. The On Balance Volume (OBV) and Stockcube Research's Volume Adjusted Price (VAD) indicators are now available via the Chart Library's Charting Tool.

Here are links from StockCharts.com - ChartSchool focusing on the calculation method for both OBV and VAD and how they are best utilised.

To add either or both of these indicators to a chart simply choose the instrument you are interested in from the menus or the search, click on the Charting tab in the charcoal bar above the chart. In the popup window, click on the Analysis dropdown menu and select Volume Adjusted Price (VAD) and/or On Balance Volume (OBV). Next hit Apply. The indicators will now have been added to the Chart Library.

If you would like to save these parameters as a new template, click on the Charting tab again. In the blue bar at the top of the popup window click on Save. Give the template a name by typing in the 'Save Settings' as: box. Hit OK then Apply. Refresh the page. Your new template will now have been added to the Chart dropdown menu in the upper right of the page.
