The evolution of natural language programming is a significant trend. It holds out the promise of broadening the spectrum of people who can use innovative tools to create useful products and services. At present this is still in relative infancy, but the pace of development is sufficiently fast to suggest real world applications within the next couple of years. It might be a while (decades?) before we get to Star Trek levels of voice commands but it’s not impossible.
Alphabet might be an advertising company, but it has significant investments in chatbots, artificial intelligence, quantum computing and search. The share remains under pressure as the excesses of the post pandemic surge are unwound.
