"I may try the one month's subscription, perhaps moving over to the one year's after that, but first may I enquire the following? :

(1) In all the charts for individual stocks, sector indices, stock indices, can P/E bands be drawn?

(2) Is it possible to draw simple straight lines on the charts (e.g. to see level of support)?

"I presume that your charts can show these:
- p&f charts
- volume
- end-of-day moving average lines
- charts of very-long-term US Treasury bonds

"Thanks very much for any help and information."

Eoin Treacy's view Thank you for this inquiry and we look forward to welcoming you to the Service. I heartily invite you to take out a trial subscription and at £50 we regard it as an 'amuse bouche' compared to what you can expect from an annual subscription.

The Subscriber's Chart Library will always be a work in progress and we add new functionality every year. P&f charts, candles, bars and lines are all at your disposal. Volume, customizable moving averages as well as a number of other indicators are also available.

The range of instruments available in the Chart Library is remarkably wide so yes, we have long-term charts of US Treasury bond prices and yields. We place a great deal of emphasis on commonality in our research so you will also find charts of yields and prices for a host of other countries allowing you to compare performances.

At present it is not possible to plot P/E's because we do not receive this information in our data feed from Bloomberg. This means it is not currently possible to create P/E bands. Drawing horizontal lines or trendlines on our charts is pretty high on our development list but is not available just yet
