on Danish capital gains tax:
"First of all thanks for an outstanding service, particularly because of the educational (empowerment) aspects of the service!

"I have noticed the huge advantage you have in using financial spread betting in the UK, because of its income tax exception. Is it possible to ask if anyone in the collective knows what the Danish tax regulations are on spread betting? Our tax on capital gains exceed 50%!

"I haven't lived in Denmark for more than ten years, but because I'm currently employed as an advisor for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, I have to pay income tax to Denmark."

Eoin Treacy's view Thank you for this question which other Danish subscribers may be able to help with. I can only assume that since spread-betting firms are not proliferating in Denmark that spread-bet profits are subject to the same capital gains taxes as futures or other leveraged investments.
