“One more question, is their data for the Barclays Aggregate Bond Index. How would I get the compounded return of the Index from Jan 2005 to Dec 2012? Same for the Barclay High yield index

Eoin Treacy's view Thank you for this question. You will find yield charts for a wide selection of government and corporate bonds in the Bond Yields section of the Chart Library. It is not currently possible to calculate total return data in the Chart Library but here is a chart of the Barclays Aggregate Bond Index from Bloomberg.
