On a colourfully named "signal", discussed by the Financial Times yesterday
"What does the Hindenberg Omen mean for Stock markets?"
David Fuller's view In addition to your question, thanks for including the Financial Times' link to their article on the 'Hindenburg Omen', published on Thursday.
It is an ominously named, theoretical indicator based on an increase in the number of securities on the NYSE that are going up (mainly stocks) while others are going down (mainly bond prices). Interestingly, Fullermoney received emails on the Hindenburg Omen on 16th December 2010 and 26th June 2008.
There are plenty of reasons for expecting a period of market turbulence, as Fullermoney has been discussing for several months, not least in the Audio. However, I do not think it will be anything like 2008.
