Palladium and silver have been clear leaders in the most recent portion of the precious metal secular bull market. Silver broke upwards to new 30-year highs three weeks ago and palladium broke upwards to new 9-year highs last week. Both are appreciating in just about every currency which supports the view that investors see precious metals as a store of value in their own right. This is a seasonally strong period for gold and related instruments. Clear downward dynamics posted concurrently across the four precious metals would be required to check momentum beyond a brief pause.
