Eoin Treacy's view WTI crude futures have only been trading since 1984. The last time I searched, which was during the last oil spike, Bloomberg did not have a longer data series. However, this has now been rectified and I have added the relevant ticker to the Chart Library. I have also added an inflation adjusted chart to the relevant section and here is a long-term log scale chart which may also be of interest.
