On what to buy in Japan:
"Having seen the Japanese stock market fall over a cliff in the last few days, my inclination is to invest some of the profits I have booked recently in this market. As a veteran subscriber I know you don't do the word 'recommend'. However, if you were able to suggest any well run Japanese assets that are quoted on the LSE that one could consider buying I would be really grateful."
David Fuller's view Interesting question and I have some
thoughts on this.
A
listing on the LSE is quite a restraint. Subject to how you are assessing the
Fukushima situation, I would consider the Atlantis Japan Growth Fund (AJG LN)
(weekly & daily),
a USD-denominated investment trust managed by the experienced Ed Merner
I also
spoke to my Stockcube colleague Will Chawner, a capable Asia strategist, about
'cherry picking' among Japanese stocks listed in Tokyo. He likes big-cap blue
chips, and very kindly produced this list.
I have yet to vet it but you could find them in the Chart Library.
