on Chart Library specifications:
"I have a chart in my favourite list of 10 year and 2 year treasury yields as a yield curve proxy. When I look at this chart all the charts I look at subsequently are ruined: The 200 day moving average is removed and a new chart of the US 2 year bond difference is added. Is there any way I can avoid this irritating effect happening?"

Eoin Treacy's view Thank you for raising this question which others may also have an interest in. The Chart Library is designed to attempt to remember your preferences. This means that when you look at a spread, it assumes you may also be interested in looking at other instruments spread against the same base. When you click through the list of your Favourites, as you pass the spread the software will automatically adopt that chart preference. To remedy this, all you need do is hit the Reset button, located in the charcoal bar above the chart, or select a template from the Chart menu located at the upper right of the page.

I have created a number of Preset chart templates in my account. These allow me to view the specific chart and indicator parameters I want without having to customize a chart each and every time I want to view it. To create your own customized templates please follow the instructions posted via this link. Once created, you can choose your chart template whenever you wish and avoid repetitious customization.
