On an environment article from the UK Guardian newspaper
"David, any comments on the attached?"
David Fuller's view Not really, except to say that every thoughtful person wants to live in a clean environment, extending from our homes to our planet.
In terms of energy policies, I maintain that natural gas from conventional sources to the shale reserves in many countries, can do much more to reduce atmospheric pollution than the premature deployment of so-called green sources. Windmills are the worst, being inefficient, noisy, unsightly, hazardous for wild life, and extremely expensive to build and maintain. They are also unreliable and therefore have to be backed by conventional power, which increases the use of coal as we see in Germany.
