on an energy related BBC radio interview:
"This BBC programme is both an interesting review of events that impacted the price of oil over the last 30 years as well as an excellent survey of the outlook for energy development. I also learned about shale gas explorations being pursued in the North of England.

"Worth half and hour of the time of anyone interested in energy investment.

"Turmoil across the Middle East sent oil prices jumping and has raised big questions about the security of the energy supplies that have powered the world economy for the past 100 years. Peter Day investigates the future of oil, and what the current upheavals might mean for other energy supplies.

Eoin Treacy's view Thank you for this informative set of interviews which I agree is worth the time to listen to. I have a more optimistic attitude to global growth prospects than the final interviewee, primarily because of the significant effect technological innovation is having on supply, most notably in shale oil and shale gas.
