On emerging markets and hiccups:
"Prompted by today's subscriber letter regarding emerging markets/China's growth and the inevitable hiccups, I would like to forward to The Collective a presentation by Kishore Mahbubani. He spoke at the 40th St. Gallen Symposium in May 2010. The comments are as timely now as they were a year ago.
"Mr. Mabushani's professional background speaks for itself: he is Dean of Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and was Singapore's Permanent Secretary of the Foreign Ministry (1993-1998). Before that, he served over three decades in Singapore's Foreign Service. His outlines on the unleashing of the Asian entrepreneurial spirit & what it means to the world, combined with his Asian approach lends helpful perspective to us Westerners. Interesting are also a few follow-up questions from his audience.
"I heartily recommend this video presentation. Wishing you a good Independence Day weekend "in absentia","
David Fuller's view Thank you so much for this excellent presentation, contributed in the spirit of Empowerment Through Knowledge. I agree that it is just as relevant today as it was 13 months ago. These themes will resonate with veteran subscribers and help to inform a far wider audience. They also tick a number of boxes in terms of Fullermoney's view of our rapidly changing world.
I also recommend that people listen to the three questions and answers, which are equally good.
