My long-term observation is that precious metals attract more 'interesting stories', not least regarding production surpluses or deficits, than most other commodities, although this may also be true of crude oil. Consequently, I remain somewhat wary unless a bullish story is also accompanied by relative strength, and vice versa in terms of bearish stories.

Palladium (weekly & daily) has shown good relative strength recently, although this certainly was not always the case. Yesterday's Email 3 provided the story. Meanwhile, $700 has been an important threshold over the last two years.
