on how to find the Australian interest rate chart:
"I'm not sure where to go to find the chart David put up on Tuesday on Australian interest rates. It is listed as "RBA Cash Rate Target (RBACTR) 4.75 +0.25" I have tried to search for it and had a look round but can't find it to add it to my favorites. Can you please help?"

Eoin Treacy's view Thank you for this question which others may also be interested in. When using the Chart Library search, less is very often more. I would suggest starting out with 'RBA' as the keyword in your search. This will give you a number of results including the various interest rate spread charts. However if you scroll down you will see "Reserve Bank of Australia Cash Rate Target" in the Monetary Measures section. To add it to your Favourites simply click on the '+' sign next to the title on the search results.

I posted a 50yr chart of the RBA cash rate on Tuesday. To recreate that chart, select the instrument from the menu or search. Click on Charting, found in the black bar above the chart. Select 'Line' from the Type options and '50yr (max)' from the Period dropdown menu. Next hit the Apply button.
