Email of the day on issues with Vimeo
I do not wish to join Vimeo, so please fix the link.
Thanks for letting us know. It looks like Vimeo is now asking anyone who wants to watch a video to set up a free account. We were not informed of this change and I am in active conversation with their customer care department about the issue.
More broadly, I have a separate Gmail account for all the different sites I am now forced to have a login for. I also allow them to sign in automatically from that account. I only use that email for signing up for free services. I then use my regular email for everything else.
Since I moved to the USA over eight years ago my data has been stolen at least 5 times. My data was in the Home Depot, HSBC, Anthem, Target, and others I can’t even remember data breaches. I have not experienced any negative repercussions of these events but I change passwords regularly just in case.
