Eoin's personal portfolio:
Eoin Treacy's view I closed my short
in the Aberdeen New Thai fund this morning at 272.89p against my sale on the
16th at 269.33p. The SET Index's bounce has not been reflected in the trust's
NAV and the odds have increased that any reversion to the mean may be limited
to a consolidation of recent powerful gains.
In keeping
with the baby steps strategy I have been following with CRH,
I sold half my position this morning at €15.17 against my purchase of the
December contract on August 24th at €11.877. Prices have firmed considerably
over the last week and appear due for a short-term pullback. I was also conscious
of the approaching December 13th contract roll and concluded I was unlikely
to have a see a substantially better price for this portion of the position
prior to that date. My other long is in the June 2011 contract and I hope to
 increase it on a setback.
