Eoin Treacy's view Following on from my comments on platinum in Comment of the Day on July 26th, the $1400 level represents an important area for platinum. With gold continuing to hold its short-term progression of higher reaction lows within its present range, it should exert a positive influence on the other precious metals. I opened a spread-bet long in the October contract paying $1401.10 including dealing costs.
