Eoin's personal portfolio: lumber long initiated
Eoin Treacy's view
I've been watching lumber for a number
of weeks because it had been forming a probable base in a tight band between
$200 and $220 and was lagging other industrial resources. It broke upwards today
and I am willing to give the upside the benefit of the doubt provided the breakout
is sustained. I bought a November contract at $227.05 including spread-bet dealing
costs this afternoon when it briefly pulled back from its limit-up condition.
