David Fuller's view Hugh Young has often made this point about the quality of Chinese companies and their governance. It is a relative comparison, of course, and he would know. My view is that investors interested in China should mainly invest in Hong Kong listed companies which are generally better regulated and where standards of governance are likely to be higher.
