On a latter question, Jim O'Neill thinks the biggest risk is protectionism. I disagree. We never escape a degree of protectionism but free trade is growing much more rapidly, and it is logical that it should do so.
Looking ahead, I maintain that the greatest risk to economic progress will be future inflation, led by commodity prices.
