David Fuller's view This is an interesting and informative report produced by Lynas Corp (weekly & daily). Might they be sweetening the market before announcing a rights issue? I have no information on this but I like Lynas and have a personal investment in the share. I assume this promotional report is responsible for the Lynas' rally this week, following a consolidation during most of the last two months.

Veteran subscribers may recall that China tried to buy control of Lynas in 2009, but this was sensibly rebuffed by the Australian government. In 3Q 2011 Lynas should become the first new source of supply for Rare Earths outside of China.
