Latest T-Bond short stopped out

David Fuller's view With a number of trading positions open and the Egyptian situation still boiling, I have been introducing breakeven stops quickly, recently, to lower the possibility of drawdowns. The tradeoff is increased monetary discipline at the risk of being stopped out by small and ultimately uneventful reactions. Yesterday's additional short in US 30-Year Treasury Bond futures was stopped out today. Consequently, Thursday's short at 119.00 for the March decimalised T-Bond contract was bought back this afternoon at 118.91, including spread-bet dealing costs of 4-points each way. This reduced my overall short position in T-Bonds by 25%.
