My personal portfolio: Corn futures long increased
David Fuller's view This is speculative because I do not know what the important WASDE report on Wednesday will say, although I suspect it will be bullish, and more importantly, I do not know how the corn market will react to the news at a time when most traders who are interested in corn (weekly & daily) are presumably already long. Nevertheless, I am willing to risk some of my current profit on the latest round of corn longs and increased my position by 50% today, paying $6.134 for another March position, including spread-bet dealing costs.
Here is a report from Bloomberg today on insufficient rain and high temperatures in parts of Argentina and Brazil.
