My personal portfolio: JPMorgan Japanese IT purchased; S&P hedge short increased
David Fuller's view I bought a small
position in the JPMorgan Japanese Investment
Trust (JFJ LN) on 24th April, paying 2.2925. This was financed by accumulated
dividends in a pension account. I obviously paid up for JFJ but if the Japanese
government's policies work beyond the short term, I may have only missed the
initial advance. JFJ's current discount to NAV is 9.13%, according to Bloomberg.
Today,
I increased my small hedge short in the S&P 500 Index (weekly
& daily), paying 1570.13, including spread-bet dealing
costs.
