My personal portfolio: T-Bond trade rolled forward and increased; Rough Rice long trade opened

David Fuller's view These are delayed reports due to time away from the office.

With trading, one can only run a loss if it is a small position relative to the capital one is willing to risk. Nevertheless it was careless of me to let even a small initial stake in T-Bonds move against me to such an extent that my expiring September short was bought in at 136.02 on 24th August against my sale at 123.21 on 21st June. The losing short position was automatically rolled into a December contract at 134.608 on 27th August. Following Friday's downward dynamic I increased the short position that evening, selling another equal-sized position at 132.39. Last Friday I also opened a long in rough rice, buying the November contract at $11.6375. These prices include spread-bet dealing costs of 4-points (each way) for T-Bonds and 7¢ for rice.
