David Fuller's view My thanks to a subscriber for this item from Zero Hedge. You may have seen if before but it is still a shocker, and scroll down to a graph headed: "Reserve currency status does not last forever". I do not recall seeing this previously; it appears to be unattributed, and I cannot vouch for its accuracy. First among discrepancies, I would have expected China to be in there at some point up to the 1700s. Nevertheless, the graph has at least a semblance of truth in terms of the western world. The US dollar seems increasingly unlikely to be replaced by the euro as the world's main reserve currency, but what about the renminbi around the middle of this century?
