My personal portfolio
A position partially closed; another one increased
A sell stop order was triggered in half of my German DAX Index futures position. I had placed this stop the week before last because I had a number of leveraged positions, while knowing full well that in-the-money stops in these volatile markets can be profit reducers far more often than they offer needed protection. As it turned out, the DAX December contract opened very weak this morning, below my stop at 10500, triggering my sale at 10487.5, before rallying very rapidly. This sale was against my recent DAX futures purchase at 10020 on 7th October.
This morning, I increased my China H-Shares Index long position, paying 10215 for the November contract. These November positions will be rolled forward on the 27/11.
These prices include all spread-bet dealing costs.
