Thank you for raising an issue which may be of interest to other subscribers. 2pm PST is one hour after the New York close. We experimented in the testing phase with taking an earlier download of closing data from Bloomberg but it contained too many errors to be workable. Part of the reason for this is because it takes time for exchanges to collate their exact closing price, for Bloomberg to confirm it and for us to download it.
