My personal portfolio
Two investment positions increased
I used the small setback in the JPMorgan Chinese Investment Trust (JMC LN) to increase my position, buying near today’s low. It is currently selling at a discount to NAV of -7.565%, according to Bloomberg. I also topped up my holding in Royal Dutch Shell B (RDSB LN) by the amount received from its dividends over the last two years, buying at the current yield of 5.44%. This may be a somewhat more risky investment, subject to the ability of the firm’s management in a changing environment. However, the share is cheap, diversified, and should see at least one good rally next year when oil prices partially regain what they have lost over the last six months and counting.
