David Fuller's view VIX - This week's sharp jump signals a deterioration in sentiment on Wall Street. A sustained move over 30, should it occur, would be bearish.

USA (S&P 500) - A second consecutive downward dynamic is eroding support and a break under the recent range lows near 1085 for more than a day or two would indicate further deterioration.

UK (FTSE 100) - Once again an upward break has not been maintained; a close under 5100 would interrupt the progression of rising lows since mid-July; an upward dynamic is required to check the current erosion of support.

Australia (AS51) - An upside failure has occurred, extending the broadening pattern above important support near 4500. Here also an upward dynamic is required to check a further erosion of prior support.

Hong Kong (HSI) - The pattern since August shows rounding top characteristics and here also an upward dynamic is required to check the deterioration.
