World Equity Market Valuations Tables May 11th 2015
Here is a link to the full list.
Most months I highlight the cheaper markets on a P/E basis within these tables. However this month I thought the performance of Germany's TecDAX was worthy of mention.
The Index is trading on an historic P/E of 45.79 and yields 1.9%. It has at least partially unwound an historically wide overextension relative to the 200-day MA and a sustained move below 1550 would be required to signal a swifter process of mean reversion.
Please note: All data quoted above originates in Bloomberg. We realise that some of the data displayed is inaccurate for some indices, particularly where ADRs are included. However, I have endeavoured to remove the most problematic indices. We publish these tables because the data is generally accurate and going forward we will continue to weed-out the less reliable data sets as subscribers highlight them for us. The P/Es quoted by Bloomberg are exclusively based on operating earnings.)
